On Tuesday, December 8, the TEA Party held a final meeting at the Women's Club in Silver City. About 45 to 50 members, new and old, were there for the Last Hoorah. Perhaps the one traveling the greatest distance was Billy Mack, from Tucson, who held the first meetings of the group at his shop. Others who have migrated to other states were invited, but Billy made the trip and was there early enough to give hugs and handshakes to nearly all who came.
The meeting began with a barbecue dinner. Visiting continued throughout. Following the meal, some history of the group was recounted.
