Gila / Mimbres Community Radio and KURU 89.1 FM invite you to join as the station celebrates its second anniversary of FM broadcasting and begins to unfold its vision for GMCR / KURU's future - and the community's part in it. Join the festivities on Saturday January 30 at 6-8 pm in the back room of the Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery on Bullard & Broadway for appetizers - and cash bar - to begin the celebration and learn what's next for YOUR community radio station.
Members and the community will continue to celebrate the following evening at the GMCR / KURU studio at 519 B North Bullard Street in Downtown Silver City from 5:30 - 7:30 pm for more good food and the beginnings of a continuing community conversation on how the public's involvement can lift GMCR / KURU to the next level in becoming the vital and effective community institution that the community needs and that will serve the public even better well into the future.
