The Cobre school board meeting of December 14 began at 7:15 p.m. with all members present: Frank Gomez, Robert Montoya, Frances Kelly, Frank Cordova and Toy Sepulveda, board president. The closed portion reportedly began at 6:04. Sepulveda said they had discussed limited personnel, student identifiable information and the superintendent's evaluation, but no decisions had been made.
An administrative action, approving the use of facilities that New Mexico Legal Aid had requested, was approved for a past period, permitting its use of the High School Fine Arts area on November 10, between 5 and 7 p.m., and the Central Elementary multipurpose room on November 17, between 4 and 6 p.m. Legal Aid services are free, and they explained their offerings to teachers and others.
