On Thursday, November 19, 2015, the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce will host the Grant County Community Awards Banquet sponsored by PNM. During the banquet the Chamber of Commerce will honor local people and businesses for outstanding dedication to the civic, business, and cultural development of Grant County.
The banquet will be held at the Western New Mexico University Student Cafeteria. A “Meet & Greet” with cash bar will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the awards banquet beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will not be a guest speaker at this banquet. We‘re celebrating the best of Grant County, not a speaker from out-of-town, so it should be a very enjoyable evening.
Here’s a list of some of the awards:
• Grant County Citizen of the Year
• Linda Kay Jones Humanitarian Award
• Grant County Business of the Year (over 26 employees)
• Grant County Small Business of the Year (1 to 25 employees)
