GRANT COUNTY ROLLING STONES GEM & MINERAL SOCIETY
The club meeting will be on Thursday October 8 at the Silver City Senior Center, 204 W. Victoria Street. It always starts with a Potluck Dinner at 6 pm followed by a rock draw (rock donations are always accepted). Please bring your own service ware and a dish to share.
The Program for November will be a Show and Tell. Bring your favorite rock or rock related specimen and be prepared to talk about it. Join us if you can. For more information please see our blog site rollingstonesgms.blogspot.com.

GRANT COUNTY ROLLING STONES GEM & MINERAL SOCIETY FIELD TRIP
We will go to the Zulh Petrified Wood Museum and Prehistoric Animal Tracks Monument in Las Cruces. The Museum is located on the campus of New Mexico State University. The Museum Tour will last approximately 1 hour and will be led by a curator. The travels to the Monument will include an easy 1 mile long walk.
We will meet at the south side of Walmart's parking lot. Be there at 8 AM. We will leave at 8.30 AM. Bring lots of water, lunch, chairs and cameras. Bring digging tools.
