On Sunday, June 21 at about 8:55 p.m. Silver City police officers, Grant County sheriff's deputies and New Mexico State Police responded to a reported shooting near the intersection of N. Swan and 6th streets.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, a press release stated, officers were advised that three shooting victims were in the emergency room at Gila Regional Medical Center. All were from the reported shooting and all were males, ranging from 18 to 23 years of age.
