Tuesday evening's lightning over the southern Peloncillo Mountains ignited a wildfire on the Coronado National Forest. The fire, located north of last week's Guadalupe Fire, is burning north of the Geronimo Trail on the west side of the Arizona-New Mexico border around Outlaw Mountain. The fire, named for the prominent map terrain feature Hog Canyon, is expected to grow in size over the next few days but will be closely worked.
