Incident Name: Pinon Fire Number: 15-30330391n
Situation:
Strategy is to manage the fire for multiple objectives, preliminary management boundaries are Y Canyon, Cox Canyon, Continental Divide Trail, Long Canyon and Bursum Road- minimal private lands associated with these boundaries.. About 15 personnel – including three engines – are assigned to the incident and working along Forest Road 94 to establish the western boundary of the fire. Fire activity was characterized as low to moderate, moving primarily north, northeast through ponderosa pine, oak and mixed conifer.
