The New Mexico Legislative Study Committee met in Silver City this week at the Western New Mexico University J. Cloyd Miller Library. The third presentation on Thursday morning addressed the Approaches and Solutions for the at-risk and habitually truant students.
Committee Chairman Dennis J. Roch said Sen. Howie Morales had asked him to put the item on the agenda, "because he thought it would be a good discussion. I've seen the approach and creative thinking outside of the classroom."
