TRAFFIC ALERT
The NMDOT District One office has posted an alert for White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) regarding intermittent roadblocks for U.S. Highway 70 from September 25 through October 7 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. as military tactical vehicles periodically cross on the highway.
The roadblocks will be located at mile marker 174 (Small Missile Range Gate, approximately four miles east of the Las Cruces Gate). The Las Cruces Gate, Owen Road and Nike Avenue are not affected.
Motorists are asked to travel through this area with caution. Roadblocks are subject to change without notice.
