"Iris in Bloom" an oil painting by Linda Reynolds.
It's another exciting weekend at the Grant County Art Guild's Pinos Altos Art Gallery. The gallery is filled with paintings, jewelry, photography, ceramics, metal art, fabric art and much, much more! All offerings are created by local artists and fine crafters.
This Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, two talented member artists, Mark and Jane Bowen, will be the featured artists at the gallery. Mark Bowen is well-known for his creative Southwestern metal art, both for the yard and for the home. They vary in sizes from life-size yard art to tiny ornaments to adorn holiday trees. His metal birdhouses are also very popular. Jane Bowen is a multi-talented artist, producing shawls and other yarn and fabric-based items that are perfect for gifting or keeping. And Jane also paints delightful watercolors! This Friday and Saturday you can see the special exhibit of both of these artists.
Sunday is a popular day for a visit to this unique gallery and this Sunday, September 20, is a great day to see the work of the Guild's featured artist, Linda Reynolds. Linda paints in oil and enjoys working in classes with other artists and learning new techniques and new art forms. She is inspired by nature and that inspiration is so beautifully reflected in her paintings.
