Tuesday, Sept. 8

Welfare check
Camino Blanco
Can hear a lot of noise in the background/metal dragging and hitting metal on metal. Phone mapped out at the end of Camino Moreno/could not get anyone on the other end. Deputies clear/negative contact.

Criminal damage to property
Grant County Landfill
Caller advised that over the weekend their equipment was shot at.

Caller who resides on Racetrack Road stated they have called the animal control officer numerous times about their neighbor’s dogs. Advised that their neighbor came to their house angry to ask why caller keeps calling the ACO. Advised if deputies would speak to the neighbor and see if they can change where the dogs eat to a different location the problem will be solved.

Domestic disturbance
Bandoni Drive
Caller advised that the neighbors have been arguing outside for about an hour. Deputy advised clear/it was verbal.

Weapons fired
Little Walnut Picnic Area
Caller, who is the caretaker of the picnic area, advised that he heard an automatic weapon being fired west of the picnic grounds. Second caller advised it is coming from behind Gomez Peak and wants to know if it is legal to have an automatic weapon. Third caller advised that they are still shooting.

11820 Highway 180
Caller advised that a male with one arm is disoriented and staggering and should not be driving/he is walking to put gas in his vehicle.

Suspicious vehicle
Arenas Valley and Elias roads
Deputy advised that a 21-year-old individual had an anxiety attack.

Disturbance
Aspen – San Lorenzo
Caller advised across from location they are going around the house with flashlights and revving vehicles. Deputy advised clear/everything is OK/subjects left prior to arrival.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

Injuring/tampering with motor vehicle
Rio de Arenas Road
Caller advised that someone just drove by and egged her car for the second time today.

Domestic disturbance
Cottage San Road
Caller advised that a physical altercation is going on between some females and there are a few kids outside.

Welfare check
E. Highway 180 and Rosedale Road
With a blanket in the middle of the road. Deputy moved the blanket.

Pinon Lane – Grant County
Caller advised that his 30-year-old son is passed out in his room with a syringe in his hand. Caller requests officers come quietly so they do not wake and scare him. Advised that the son has been like this for about an hour/says it is his medicine.

Accident-property damage
Ridge Road
Caller advised that she hit a deer on Ridge Road.

Welfare check
Rosedale Road and Grenfell Drive
Caller advised that a subject, who appears to be unconscious, is parked near the mailboxes in a red Ford Taurus. Deputy had negative contact.

Missing persons
Casas Grande Road – Hanover
Caller advised that their 14-year-old daughter left about two hours ago and has not returned and caller wants to report her as a runaway. Caller called back to cancel advising that the daughter is with caller’s son and is OK.

Highway 152 – San Lorenzo
Caller requests welcheck on an 18-year-old student who had not been attending school. Deputy had negative contact.

Highway 61 – Lower Mimbres
Caller advised that four kids are possibly living in unsanitary conditions, may be suffering neglect, and possibly have no utilities. Kids are 7, 6, and 4 years of age and an infant. Deputy had negative contact with anyone at the residence/will contact PNM to see if the power is on and will be following up with caller.

Caller advised that they can hear a little boy screaming and a male adult/18-23 year-old male with a cut on his wrist. Deputy advised that they will be getting in contact with SCI.

Domestic disturbance
Table Butte Road – Cliff
Caller advised that his wife has been drinking and they had a verbal argument and she drove a pickup into a ditch then left on foot. Caller advised that he looked for her but could not find her. While on the line the female walked in and caller was advised to go to another room. Deputy requested a lights and siren response for a 53-year-old female with cancer.

Thursday, Sept. 10

Welfare check
Bellm and Highway 180
Caller advised that a female who appears in distress is walking toward Bayard carrying a baby. Deputies ATL in the area of the ditch with a diaper bag on the ground with personal belongings inside and on S. Bellm with a vehicle stopping where the car seat is/but had negative contact.

Disturbance
Mathers Road – Arenas Valley
Caller advised a named female was staying at the home and took $200. Advised that now the female was trying to get into caller’s home but is leaving in a gray Ford pickup.

Battery
Highway 152 – Grant County
Caller advised that a named male got inside their vehicle and attacked his boyfriend. Deputy had negative contact.

Welfare check
Flame – Pinos Altos Road
Caller advised that a male, who looked to be intoxicated, was walking in the road.

Burglary
Quail Run Road
Caller advised that he is a caretaker for a residence that has been burglarized and some items are missing.
