Las Cruces - The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with La Calerita Construction continue with work at the I-10/Ramp E bridge and the I-10/Union Ave. Bridge in Las Cruces.
Union Avenue at l-10 will be closed from 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 29 through 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 for the removal of the existing bridge caps. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone.
Northbound Union Avenue traffic will be detoured via Stern, east to Cholla Rd. / Broadmoor Rd. and north to Sam Steel Way. Southbound traffic will need to utilize the same detour traveling in the opposite direction.
The NMDOT and La Calerita Construction will have their next month Public Involvement meeting Tuedsay, September 8, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the NMDOT Las Cruces Complex located at 750 North Solano.
