Border Area Mental Health Services will be providing a New Mexico Alcohol Server Training Class at its Silver City office on Tuesday, Aug. 18, in Suite 11, at 315 S. Hudson St.
Class time is from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
"This training is for both people who are seeking first-time certification and for others who need to renew," explained Steve May, a program specialist with BAMHS and also a certified instructor for the training. "Folks working in any business where beer, wine, or distilled spirits are sold by the drink or through package sales must be certified every three years," he said.
Cost of the class is $35 and is payable with cashier's checks, money orders or business checks, May said. No personal checks are accepted.
