Explore Fort Bayard's History!. The Fort Bayad Historic Preservation Society will host a Walking Tour on Saturday, August 6., at 9:30 . Participants are to meet at the Fort Bayard Museum located on the west side of the Parade Ground. The Museum will be open from 9:15 until noon. In addition to the military and tuberculosis treatment years, Cecilia Bell will share the role of Fot Bayard durung World War II.
Please remember to wear good walking shoes and sunscreen. Bring a cap or hat, water, and a camera.
